At Eyecare Center of Orange County, Dr. Alexander Bonakdar has cared for patients for more than three decades. Trained at Bascom Palmer, board certified, and trusted by more than ten thousand Orange County patients since nineteen ninety one.
A single vision lens carries one prescription across the whole lens. It gives the sharpest possible vision, but only at one distance.
Bifocals have two zones split by a visible line. The image jumps as your eye crosses it, and there is nothing at all for arm's length.
Progressive lenses change power gradually down the lens. Distance at the top, arm's length through the middle, reading at the bottom. No line and no jump.
Coatings matter more than people expect. Anti-reflection cuts glare at night and on screens, and on a strong prescription the difference is substantial.
Tell us how you actually spend your day. The right lens follows from that, not from a price list.
